Frequently Asked Questions

  • I only accept booking requests via booking form on my website when my books are open.

*Custom requests are NOT selected on a first come first serve basis. I am very selective about what projects I take on. Please do not take this personally!

Pre-drawn projects & flash designs are available between custom book openings.

When my books open, a booking request form will go live on my website. You will fill out all of the information and send references.

Please note I will only be taking on projects I feel most passionate about. If chosen, I will send you a booking link to schedule your appointment. The website will prompt you for a nonrefundable deposit to secure your appointment slot.

  • If your idea was accepted, you will receive a followup email with a link to book your own appointment. If you do not book your appointment within one week, you forfeit your appointment guarantee.

A non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your booking.

I may ask for additional reference photos or photos of the spot you’re looking to have tattooed in order to make sure we are on the same page and have realistic expectations of what is possible.

Booking links sent to clients are essentially a contract for the design you submit on your form. If you should choose to change the idea of your design, I have the right to choose not to proceed with the appointment since it is not what we previously agreed upon.

Your deposit will still be non-refundable, but can still be transferred to a new design if it is accepted.

*Please do not book and pay a deposit if you are not serious about the tattoo. I do not want anyone to waste time or money.

  • I require a $100 deposit for 1-3hr sittings, and a $200 deposit for 4-6hr sittings. The deposit will be applied to the total cost of your tattoo. Your deposit acts as a place-holder for our appointment and is NON-REFUNDABLE.

  • I understand that things are sometimes out of our control, and one reschedule is allowed per client to be rescheduled within the same booking period (within 3 months) if given advance notice of 4 days or more.

Cancellations & reschedules made within less than 48 hours of their appointment time forfeit their deposit, and will require another deposit to rebook.

Multiple reschedules of the same appointment beyond 2 in a year will forfeit their deposit, and will require another deposit to rebook.

If you are more than 30 minutes late for your appointment, your deposit is forfeit. Another deposit will be required to rebook.

If you no call/no show, your deposit is forfeit and you will not be rescheduled for a future appointment.

If you decide to not go through with your tattoo for any reason, the deposit is non-refundable.

If you reschedule a touch up more than twice, you will be asked to pay a sitting fee.

Always reschedule your appointment if you feel sick in any way. Please let me know ASAP if you cannot make your appointment so you don’t lose your deposit!

  • Please keep my style in mind when booking. My style sits in between Neo-Traditional and botanical illustration. Style interests include Organic topics such as plants, insects, herbs, rocks + minerals, bones, animals, fruit, veggies etc.

I am also interested in tarot imagery, greek mythology, folklore, astrological themes and psychedelic imagery.

  • Most designs designated as “Flash” are repeatable, non-repeatable designs will be labeled as such. For custom designs, unless you and a loved one are coming in for matching tattoos, all designs are only tattooed once.

  • Imagery I don’t tattoo: any symbols or phrases of hate, human portraits, mandalas, purely geometric designs, compasses, pocket watches, vehicles, or watercolor style.

I am not currently offering hand tattoos, or any placement above the chest at this time.

I will not tattoo you if you are pregnant, or nursing.

I will not tattoo you if you’ve been sick within the last 72 hours. If you are feeling unwell, reschedule. A tattoo already causes stress to your system and will not heal as well if you are ill.

I will not tattoo you if you appear to be impaired in any way.

I will not copy another person’s tattoo. Sending me other artists’ work as inspiration is okay, though!

  • While cash is preferred, I also accept card payments.

  • Custom work is priced hourly at a rate of $200/hr. Most flash pieces are priced by the piece. Prices will vary depending on placement, color vs. non-color, size, and amount of detail in the design, but I will be able to give you a rough estimate once I get a better understanding of your project idea.

If you are working with a set budget, absolutely let me know. If your proposed idea exceeds your budget, we can work together to scale back your idea to meet your budget. This usually means reducing the amount of elements or the level of detail in the piece.

When traveling my rate is $225/hr.

  • Pre-drawn projects are one of a kind designs drawn by me and will only be tattooed once. Pre-drawn projects do not allow for changes or customization. This would then be a custom tattoo.

Flash tattoos are a little more generic, and are not one-off tattoos. They can be tattooed multiple times on different people, and are allowed a small amount of customization.

FLASH AND PRE-DRAWN DESIGNS ARE THE ONLY GUARANTEED APPOINTMENTS. IF CLAIMED YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY RECEIVE A BOOKING SLOT.

  • Most people tip around 20%, but do what ever you are comfortably able to afford. Though it is greatly appreciated, it is not an obligation if you are financially comfortable enough to do it!

  • I recommend staying well hydrated for at least 72 hours before our appointment and the day of. Eat a hearty, solid meal before your appointment and come well rested! If it is your first tattoo, please let me know and I’ll start slowly and explain everything as I go! Wear appropriate clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed. I always love to chat, but having your own entertainment helps as well. Downloading podcasts, bringing a book, and listening to your own music are all welcomed!

  • Due to limited space in my booth, I cannot accommodate groups, but you are welcome to bring one guest with you to your appointment at this time.

  • I will send you home with specific aftercare instructions, but the biggest rule of thumb is keep your tattoo clean. Also plan to take it easy for the rest of the day after your piece, and be ready to take a break from intense (sweaty) physical activity while it heals.

  • I offer a free touch up session for tattoos under 12 months of age. Please email me directly to get set up for a touch up appointment!

There is a $60 set up fee for touch ups on tattoos I’ve made that are over a year old.

I sometimes will do touch-ups on other artists’ work at my hourly rate until completed. This is on a case by case basis.

*Please note that it is very easy for tattoo artists to tell whether a tattoo was properly taken care of during the aftercare process. Neglect to the tattoo will void the free touch-up. Tattoos do not always need touch ups, I may suggest waiting longer before touching up.

  • Yes! I believe tattoos are for people of all skin colors, body types, gender identities, and sexual orientations.

I offer free color tests for BIPOC individuals to allow you to see what colors will have the best longevity for your skin’s undertones.

  • NO! That is stealing. Also, your work will always look better if the original artist does the tattoo.
